Terms of Use

SeeFund · last updated 2026-09-08 · plain-language summary · Privacy Policy

By using SeeFund you agree to these terms. They are written to be read — the short version of each point is in the heading.

What SeeFund is

SeeFund is an educational self-study tool that backtests US-listed funds and ETFs on historical data, and explains the numbers plainly. It is not investment advice, a recommendation, an offer to buy or sell anything, or a substitute for your own judgment. Nothing on this site is personalized to you or to your financial situation.

History, not a forecast

All results are hypothetical and backtested on past data, net of modeled fees and with dividends reinvested. History is shown as history, never sold as a forecast — past performance is not a guide to the future. We never claim that a strategy, a setting or a fund is “best”, “safe”, or will beat the market. You are responsible for your own decisions.

Data & methodology

Return data comes from third-party data providers. We model fees and reinvest dividends as described in each view. Data may be delayed, incomplete, revised or contain errors, and past data may not be available for every fund. We are not liable for decisions you make from it. Check anything you rely on before acting.

Accounts & security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private and for what happens under your account. If you believe your account has been misused, tell us at support@seefund.app.

Trials, plans & payments

We are still in beta, so no payment is taken today. Free and Pro plans and the 14-day free trial are described in-product; prices shown are previews and may change before launch. Each free trial is limited to one per person and per device (see the Privacy Policy). If and when paid plans launch, the price, billing period, auto-renewal and refund rules will be shown before you confirm any payment, and you can cancel at any time. Any billing error we cause will be corrected promptly.

Use of the service

You may use SeeFund for personal research and education. Do not scrape, resell, redistribute or misuse the service or its data, attempt to bypass limits or authentication, or use it to harass or harm anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse trials, violate these terms, or interfere with the service.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them to improve SeeFund. We never attribute your feedback without your permission.

What you own & what we own

Your saved backtests and account data belong to you. The site design, code, and our original content belong to us. Nothing here transfers ownership of either.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SeeFund is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including any investment decision you make. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Disputes

If you have a concern, contact support@seefund.app and we will work to resolve it fairly. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled in the courts that have jurisdiction over you, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the latest version, and continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
